Review: Glass – Share experiences, not content

Sometimes I would like to share a particular part in a website but couldn’t direct the recipient where exactly that content was in that page. I usually direct using the paragraph count and line numbers. Does this sound familiar to you? I yes, then Glass is for you. It is a Firefox extension that lets you to share and collaborate online . Chrome extension is on its way.

Since it is in private beta testing it is not open to everybody. But I have 5 invites to give out. (More info at the end of this post.)

Glass is a virtual canvas over the entire web where you can literally place notes on top of any website. Now, instead of sending a link, your contacts see your thought together with the moment that inspired it, in context, allowing you to share the experience of being there. They recently added the ability to post video comments.

It is really a cool way to share your thoughts about websites. It will be of a great help to you, if you are working as a group in a research project.

I have 5 invites to give out, so if you want one, post a comment below filling up your correct email address in the email field. I will use http://www.random.org/ to generate random numbers to find out the winners. They will be intimated via email. This giveaway ends on 19-Aug, Midnight (IST).
